Owner Nick Hoover and Coldwater Café & Catering's chef plans to start the shop, Bodega, by mid-June, based on a press release.
“Bodega is a natural and fun approach to compliment Coldwater Café, while offering something unique in our town,” Hoover said.
The brand new store will carry specialty packed foods, wine,
craft beer and baked goods from Coldwater Café. The 27 E. Main St. store initially will employ two to three individuals.
The space was formerly inhabited.
The coming of the wine store adds another renter in old-time downtown Tipp City. In addition, it fortifies the Dayton area's wine scene home to
wine bars and a lot of wine retailers.
